In the caves, Ki-Tal, Tas-Ar, Gobo and Jay continued to explore the cave. After exploring an animal pen that used to contain the Hssiss previously slain, the team ran into a split. Going upwards, they encountered an ancient gate, and Ki-Tal received a vision that contained a riddle. Realizing that answering the riddle would activate a trap door, the group avoided the trap thanks to Jay's perceptive ways. Still, after answering the riddle, the gate didn't open and so the group was forced to go to the other path. They discovered another gate, this time sealed with a computer lock that used Balmorran technology and the group continued into the path. Feeling the dark side of the force, Jay, Gobo and Tas-Ar were compelled to willingly go into a slide trap, leaving Ki-Tal alone in the dark void.
Meanwhile, Tav, Sseyax and Torin continue to go up the mountain path. They encounter a large rock blocking their path, but Torin was able to find the switch to move the rock out of the way. As they cross though, Tav fell through the illusion mountain path, and was nearly squished to death. Continuing along, the group encountered the Valley of the Sith King, and a wild Hssiss nearly attacked the group before Sseyax scared it away. As they advanced towards the valley, they noticed a Jack waiting in ambush. They used the force to knock him down, and then Sseyax rushed to capture him; but the Jack activated a pit trap, and he and Jack both fell into the great darkness.
Sseyax used her greater strength to make Jack absorb the brunt force of the fall, killing the Jack; this also put her in the path of Tas-Ar/Gobo/Jay, who were following a path due to Jay's survival (despite his idea of survival being a stay at a 5-Star Hotel). The group continued down the path discovering shockingly a small factory developing human-esqe looking droids that have dark crystals (like the one used to make lightsabers) as hearts (similar to the one Torin encountered on the ship of the Zann Consortium). Jay recognized the factory was made from the Zann Imperium Company, a medium sized droid making company that had worked with Jay's family to reduce regulations relating to the Droid Factories. And yes, the Zann Consortium and the Zann Imperium are separate companies, though they may or may not be related. As the group began to leave, a sith spirit appeared, that of the ancient Sith Empress Surik.
Surik revealed that she was working with the Zann Imperium to create an army for the few remaining Sith and that she wished to leave her tomb to ensure that the company is doing what she has paid them to do. She tries to join Sseyax and Tas-Ar into their bodies as a joint spirit, but the two refuse, despite Jay's desire for te group to do what it needs to do to survive. Surik activates the alarm, and the group, scooby-doo style, run away. They fight one humanoid droid and defeat him easily enough as they exeunt from the tomb.
Meanwhile, Darth Revan attempted to use the Code of Ki-Tal on Ki-Tal to make him turn towards the Dark Side but failed. This was not before though Revan made Ki-Tal think he accidentally killed Tas-Ar.
Meanwhile meanwhile, Torin and Tav continue looking for the Star Map piece. They enter the newest of the tombs, and quickly encounter the spirit of the owner of the tomb - the great killer of Coruscant, Jack. Jack turned out to be a very friendly guy, admitting that he and Torin's father, Lance, used to travel all throughout the galaxy with Ayla, Atty and some guy named Rocky or Roklo. Jack told them about his journey (see the links to the previous game page) but told them that he traveled with the group as someone associated with the dark side (he does not call himself a Sith Lord). After making much chit-chat, the two groups agreed to exchange Star Map Data, with Tav and Torin giving their own blood and wearing the Tuskan Raider Armor for the time being. Torin did corrupt his part of the data (which was everything collected so far) but they acquired the map piece required.
Tav and Torin, leaving with the spirit of Jack, meet up with everyone else in the Valley. Jack talks to the rest of the group, including a bewildered Jay and a distrustful Sseyax. Tav tried to convince Jack to join the team, but only if he meets certain requirements, forcing Jack to decline, much to the satisfaction of most of the team. Finding Ki-Tal, the group enter the Nightrunner and begin to head off the planet when the team is suddenly attacked by...
