Epilogue Scene of Session 10: Intermission Part 3

Hajak Umarzoko didn't like what he was reading.  He never had much involvement with the Inquisitors, a movement led by others.  He never cared for it, but the program was strong even before he was made unfrozen, so he felt he had to let it stand.  Besides, at that time, the Moffs of the previous Empire were planning on making one decisive strike to destroy the new government.  He did what had to be done.  Only Hajak had the experience and skills necessary to aid General Vicious at the Battle of Five Suns.  Only he could recognize the enemy tactics.  Not Gunner, Not Petro, Not Jastus Farr, Not Ayla and not Ourian.  He did what had to be done.  But it was not good what he was reading.

The Senate had somehow discovered that the Inquisitors were operating.  Well, some always knew, but they never had cause to push and probe like it was some virus.  But now a child of a family who had power for far too along gets into trouble, and they use their lobbyists to push to end this movement.  He didn't feel the Inquisitors should exist as they were.  But neither should they end this way.  Politics should not interfere with the capability of those who pursue justice as their calling.

In addition, the Padawans of Teetran, his....the Padawans of Teetran had told him that they were after Teetran.  In his only request, he told them not to investigate, and yet, here they were...it was a bit disconcerting.  Was something happening at Coruscant?  What was festering this chaos?  Surely it was not Teetran.  Or Castor or Maiya, for that matter.  They all played their games too subtlety.

Needing a break from the mind games he was playing with himself, Hajak drank a small sip of his coffee.  It was bitterly cold, and Hajak had to restrain himself from throwing the cup across the room.  After being frozen, left behind, for over two hundred years...the last thing he wanted was a cold drink.
