Epilogue: The Sith Lords

For Revan, it was another fruitless day.  He thought that he could use such a code against his opponent. But no, that Ceruean thought otherwise and now his best chance to redeem himself is gone. It was simple, in Revan's mind; the galaxy needs control, and only the Dark Side provides that.  He too had once been a hero of the Jedi Order...but after he eliminated the greatest threat, he knew the Jedi Order would take him down - after all, he had done so without the Order's explicit command.  They were too passive...he had not taken the Mandalorians down, there would be no galaxy to worry about today.  Still, his last Padawan failed him.  He knew the two had always disagreed.  And he always had planned on eliminating Jack when the chance came.  Jack's policies were simply...foolish.  A system that allows each system to rule itself?  A path that would only lead to complete and utter destruction.  He was going Jack to get to the Cannon, destroy both sides forces...and then pretend that he was the Emperor.  With no one around left alive who would know the truth. it would have worked too...then he could finally break the control the galaxy needed.  Instead, he felt the Ceruean go away...and he knew it would be another 100 years or so before the chance would occur.  The Dark Side always believe in the power of emotions, unlike the Order, who desire peace and tranquility.   Perhaps the Light Side had its advantages after all.....

For Surik, the day was interesting....but not relevant.  Those travelers would not last long...they were on the weak side of things.  Then again, she might be underestimating them.  It's true that one strong user in her day would destroy entire orders now.  But that was 10,000 years ago.  It was a different time, a different place.  And for 10,000 years she laid dormant in her tomb, not her body, ravaged and destroyed by rivals of her time, but her tomb, a small cube meant only for the bastard children of criminals.  But that they found her...that droid, long and tall, she still does not why it was there and why it released her.  But its technologies...Balmorran, Coruscantian, Rachniian....so potent, so amazing, nothing she could have imagined.  And she was sure that the droids, a new, to her, and potent life creature without any living force, could use her force techniques.  That foundry...truly a masterpiece.  She knew she was supposed to claim revenge on all those who wronged her, to help the galaxy...but honestly?  She was happy just to know she was useful for a change.  It did not really matter to her what they did with her children.  But she was curious...

For Jack, it was a good day.  He got some blood for some potential recruits, received some data (likely bad, but he knew his members would take care of that unimportant feature) and really all in all just had a good time.  His Cult were doing their jobs and the galaxy, from the sound of it, still needed to be saved from itself.  With a grin, he saw their shop go away...but he would see them again.  He would see them again.  And perhaps Tav will join.
