Recap: Getting to Coruscant

Short Version: The team received a debriefing fromMs. Grey, investigated members on the battleship Bloodleaf, and headed to Coruscant, where after a couple of accidents, they arrived at the grand meeting...

Long Version
The team escorted Ms. Grey to the Battleship Exetor, where she was quick to forgive the team for, well, abandoning her on the Star Wheel.  With no explanation on how she survived, she gave the team some interesting information: various business companies, such as the Viceroy of Aldaraan, the Techno Union and others (perhaps including Balmorran Arms?) funneled funds to the Zann Imperium.  The Imperium, in turn, sent these funds to the Wookies for their living assistance fund.  The Wookies then put these funds into "research teams" into Korriban, which really went to some organization that were creating droids (here, the team debated: some, such as Ms. Grey and Jay, believe the funds went to the Cult of Jack; others, such as Sseyax, believe another organization is involved).  These droids were then shipped to the Zann Consortium, who placed these droids at various places throughout the galaxy.  Oh, and the Zann Imperium, a droid creation organization, is owned by the same Mr. Zann that owns the Zann Consortium (the two are treated as separate companies to avoid oversight by the republic)    Oh, and Ms. Grey informed the team that the Wookies would be at the grand meeting of pretty mcuh everyone, and she suspected that an assassination attempt would be made at that tme.  Everyone got that?

Once this was done, Torin created a device that could detect Zann Consortium Droids (only one device could be made) talked with Hanna for a bit, and lambasted the rest of the team for their poor tactics during the last fight with the Wookies (an issue that Torin was quite passionate about!).  Jay made some calls, and talked with Rusk and his father, and figured out that the Laughing Man was working with someone who may be his uncle, and Jay believes that his cousin, now working with his uncle (a former Empire supporter) may be a droid now.  Jay also worked to get the team into the grand meeting.  In addition, the team investigated Ms. Grey, Hanna, Commander Vicious and the rest of the ship, finding only one Zann droid on the ship (he was promptly air locked into oblivion)

The team arrived at Coruscant, and made the decision to take as small a team as possible (meaning just the PCs) into the Senate Building where the meeting was beginning to take place.  After receiving their passes (which turn out to be for janitors), the team took a new shuttle to the Senate Building, where they were promtly followed by a Republic Cruiser.  With some swift driving by Torin, the team tricked the Cruiser into crashing.  This made a police bike follow the team, but Jay Cordon gave one of his patent speeches (pretending to be Samuel) and made the poor bikeman pity his life as he gave up the chase. 

With the team now inside the building (after getting through security), the team will attempt to prevent the upcoming assassination and prove their innocence after all this time.  Or will they?
