Recap: Grand Meetings

SV: Many important meetings were had, and various truces and plots were made.  At the end, the team nearly suffered defeat, but were able to rescue an old friend - Ms. Grey.

The team seperated to do their own things at the beginning of the session and the following incurred

• Torin went to an old cantina (from the movies!) and after a short talk with the bartender went to the basement to meet with leaders Esqfire (a former monk turned pirate) and Talia (Leader of the Thousand Guns).  The first question: what to do with the captured Vigo Lando?  Esqfire wanted a swift execution, but Torin convinced the leaders that gaining any intel from Lando would be a better idea, something Talia agreed with.  Afterwards, Talia and Esqfire told Torin of how the current leader, Watkins, had been firing many leaders, as though he did not trust anyone but a few others and bit getting rid of people for "friviolous" reasons.  Torin agreed to help Esqfire and Talia with the issue.  In return, Talia allowed Hanna to attend to Torin for the time being.  With Watkins going to Coruscant, the time to strike would be soon.  Torin then had a private meeting with the two leaders and informed them about what Vigo Griff had told him.  The two, but espically Esqfire, were surprised at this.

• Sseyax and Tav were told mentally to meet Master Frey, who, at a bar/stripclub, was meeting with their former rivals/friends Nagatha the Wookie and Roon-Paan the Kel-Dor.  The two rivals informed the group about how they had followed Master Teetran to an ice planet, with Teetran leading a bunch of jedi to an old temple.  Outside the temple though, Sauron and Farsyn, two other padawans of Frey, were executed by Teetran.  Nagatha and Roon-Paan wanted to capture Teetran and Tav and Sseyax, being surprised, agree to confront Master Teetran.  Tav volunteered to talk with Teetran's padawans Tas-Ar and Ki-Tal.

• Meanwhile, Tas-Ar and Ki-Tal met with Teetran in a home of his near a market street.  Teetran was quite happy to see some Padawans to finally have passed his tests, and enjoyed a festive meal and Dwarfian Ale.  Teetran stated that his rival, Castor, was a person, while perhaps with decent intentions, is too willing to use his powers to force people on their own paths.  He stated that he needed the two's help to defeat Castor, his former friend, and perhaps even acquire Councilor's Hajak help.  

• At that time, the three noticed a mental message by Tav. Ki-Tal invited her in and after some pleasent talk, Nagatha/Roon-Paan/Frey (former Padawan of Castor)/Sseyax all bursted into the room and a very tense situation occurred, with Teetran claiming he never had been to such a planet.  With some talking from Ki-Tal and Sseyax, all parties eventually calmed down.  Frey and and Teetran agreed to a truce for the time being, and all parties agreed to head to Coruscant in order to deal with the Droid Issue and with Castor/Maiya.

After all that, the six PCs were heading back to the Bloodleaf when they noticed a mysterious figure in Grey robes being chased by three wookies, including a one-arm Wookie that Tas-Ar had beaten several weeks before.  The group went after the group, and the Wookies, not one for talk, attacked the group.  The battle was a bit bloody, Sseyax and Torin both went down and almost were killed, and Ki-Tal was on his last knees.  But the team pulled off a victory, discovering that they had in fact rescued Ms. Grey.

Now the group headed to the Bloodleaf to find out what Ms. Grey had been up to since being abandoned at the Star Wheel all those weeks ago.
