Recap: A Meeting and an Attack

Short Version: The team, after dealing with Commodore Page, Senator Cordon and Blue Saber Commander Watkins, the team finally has its meeting with the Jedi Council.  After a spirited discussion, the team is sent to a holding bay with Inquisitor Leader Joseph Gunner and Jedi Leader Ayla Bloodleaf.  The team proves itself to the two just as the facility is attacked by Droids.  The team, with Joseph Gunner, defeats Jedi Councilors Gronk and Kiyana Elana, who were actually droids.

Long Version

The team met together in the second floor meeting room, only to catch the attention of a guard.  Torin talked him out of the room for some time, but as the team was leaving, they noticed Commodore Page with a bunch of guards heading their way.  They tried to escape, but Ki-Tal tripped.  With Ki-Tal's urging, the rest of the team left Ki-Tal behind.

Arriving to the third floor, Torin noticed Attirova, leader of the Wookies, meeting with Maiya, associate of Castor, Teetran's rival.  At the same time, Samuel Cordon, newly elected Senator of Balmorra, requested a meeting with the group.  Samuel, acting very much panicked, informed Jay that someone was trying to kill him...just as Torin/Sseyax/Tav noticed that one of Samuel's bodyguards was a hidden droid.  The group took prompt action, sending the droid outside, where it exploded in its failed assassination. 

This however gathered the attention of the guards, who oddly were members of the Blue Sabers (and not the usual Inquisitors).  Attirova also helped with Watkins, in charge of security operations and mentor of Torin Woods.  After some talk, the team surrendered and lost most of their items.  Escorted by the two, the team had a spirited discussion with Attirova while waiting to meeting with the Jedi Council (they also found Ki-Tal and Tas-Ar again)

The team then finally met with the Jedi Council, where it became soon clear that the Council weer not going to trust the team.  Jay and Torin did their best to convince the team, and Torin used his machine to determine that Ayla bloodleaf was not a Droid - before Gronk destroyed it.  Gronk and Kiyana were in particular aggressive against the team, with Kiyana suggesting that Gunner drained the force out of the team.  The team put enough seeds of confusion within the council that the presiding President of the meeting, General Argas Vicious (there for Obi-Wan Keniobi, who was not there due to sickness) ordered that the meeting conclude, and Joseph Gunner and Ayla Bloodleaf would escort them to a holding cell with Watkins.

In a converted garden, Gunner began talking with the team, when they noticed a robot guard disguised as a Inquisitor trying to kill Ayla.  Killing the guard using a combination of Force Ice and Force Strike, they also taught Gunner how to detect droids.  Just as the team gained the trust/support of Joseph Gunner and Ayla Bloodleaf, the building was attacked by the droids.  Ayla went ahead to check on Vicious (in the Council room) and the team followed a little behind, a bit slower.

As they followed, they saw an explosion destroying the Jedi Council Room (as Torin noted, the Council would have been in session if not for the team) and used Force Ice to clear the room...only to find no bodies (as Torin later noted, Ayla said Vicious would not leave the room...so was Vicious a droid?).  The team heard fighting downstairs and went on to investigate.

Down there, they saw a big fight going on between the security forces and the droid armies, being led by councilors Gronk and Kiyana Elana.  Gunner fought Gronk one on one, the team fought Kiyana Elana and Torin led the forces of the Blue Sabers against the droid armies, using a nifty EMP bomb to defeat many droids.  Kiyana, using a double-sided lightsaber, was a difficult foe, nearly defeating Sseyax in a duel, as Sseyax showed her toughness in taking the blows.  But the combination of Force Ice from Tav and Ki-Tal with the deadly attacks of Sseyax worked in harmony to defeat Kiyana Elana.

With two Jedi Councilors dead, another missing, and Maiya and Atty working together, possibly with the droids, what will happen next?  A hint: a foe who has not appeared in a long time may make his reappearance...and possibly create explosive consequences!
