Recap: Death of a Legend

Short Version: after defeating the mercenaries, the team encountered Yoda, who revealed the location of the Star Map Piece and told them they were seeking the Life Forge.  The team survived the trial of the cave and then ran, only to then sense the death of Yoda at the hands of Joseph Gunner.

Long Version:

First there was the fight scene!  Kothan and Sseyax dueled off, exchanging many nasty wounds and words at each other, while Ki-Tal and Zuckuss fought using various force tricks, Ki-Tal using illusions and levitations, Zuckuss with illusions and blowing up trees (albeit by using explosives).  On the side of the clearing, Tav used her force abilities to buff her defense so high that Chewbacca couldn't touch her, while Solo and Torin exchanged blaster fire and taunts.  Thanks to Torin's nifty aim and Tav's force whirlwind, Han Solo ran for the trees with Chewbacca.  Ki-Tal finished Zuckuss off by freezing Zuckess to the ground and then tying his blaster hand, forcing Zuckess to use his power just to stand up - or otherwise break his legs (he surrendered).  Sseyax received additional healing, needed due to Kothan's new Lightning Blade attacks, but Sseyax finally took him down.  At the same time, Terra Vicious eliminated Dengar and Tas-Ar forced Boba Fett to jet away.  Terra took the two prisoners away back to the spaceships while the team continued to explore for the star maps.  Still Han Solo, Chewbacca, Bossk (who made a cameo ambush) and Boba Fett all escaped to live another day.

Fighting through the swamp, after a terse talk with Sseyax, Torin led the team to a small lagoon, where bumbling old Ki-Tal fell, along with Tav and Torin.  Quickly, Pirnahas attempted to eat the trio, but Ki-Tal noticed the fish running away - due to former Jedi Councilor Leader Yoda.  Yoda tried to be the fool, but Jay Cordon identified him quickly, and Yoda was quick to drop the act.

Yoda told the team that the Jedi Council discovered the Life Forge, an advanced version of the Star Forge that can create life as well as ships, at the beginning of the Clone Wars.  Yoda said they hid the pieces but had not been to the actual forge due to the civil war, and led the team to the location of the next piece, inside a dark cave where dark energies laid.

Inside the cave, a miasma formed, and certain party members fell prey to its trap.  Sseyax imagined that Master Frey was disowning her as a Jedi, Torin thought that the Omnidux of the Black Sun had killed his parents, Ki-Tal saw that Tas-Ar had turned on him for the sake of Master Teetran, and Tas-Ar conceived Master Teetran turning to the dark side.  However, Tav somehow resisted the miasma (it only affected those with the force), and so Tav and Jay Cordon were able to knock the team out of their misguided ways.  Tav had much fun poking fun at Sseyax for this.

The Star Map Piece was then discovered once the Miasma was defeated, and the team left the cave.  But they received a message from Master Yoda to run as quickly as possible, as Inquisitor Leader Joseph Gunner and twelve of his friends had appeared.  The team surprisingly and probably wisely took Yoda's advice, and soon those strong with the force felt the loss of Yoda's life.  Master Yoda is no more, slain by the hands of Joseph Gunner (more than likely).

As the team escaped, Jay tripped into quicksand, but he was rescued by Master Frey, an odd but welcomed sight.  After some questioning, Frey proved himself to be who he said he was, and the team headed to their ships.  But in heading to the Star Destroyer they'll run into an old enemy: the Techno Union, led by Evan Hauser and the Zann Consortium, led by IG-88.
