Recap: Coruscant End Part 2

SV: Having saved Coruscant, the team healed its wounds and dealt with lingering personal issues they had.  Rivals were killed, Jedi were saved, and promotions (and levels) were to be had.

Long Version:

Having said the Jedi Council from a complete Civil War situation, Torin and the team urged Ayla to let them visit Obi-Wan Keniobi, recently discovered by the team to be in a coma.  The team rushed to his house, where thirty of the galaxy's best scientists could not save him, only stabilize him.  But Ki-Tal recognized the toxin infecting Obi-Wan as the same as the toxin that had killed Castor.  Being in a small amount, Ki-Tal used his surgery skills to create a temporary cure and save the life of President Keniobi.  During this interlude, Torin talked with father and his family ensuring that they were all fine, while Sseyax had a conversation with Ayla about what was going on, asking Ayla in particular about what had happened over twenty years ago with Jack.

With Obi-Wan saved, Ayla told the team that it would take the military 24 hours to prepare for battle at the Life Forge, with everyone hoping it would take time for Maiya and Jack to figure out how to use the Life Forge.  The team rested for the first time in seemingly a month or so, and then took care of a few things...
[GM Note: Jay and Tas-Ar missed this session, so any lingering issues they may or may not have was not completed]

• Sseyax was relaxing when she was asked onto a date by the Rapier Brothers (from their planet, the whole family must date a potential companion, although they promised to not tell their sister).  Sseyax agreed to the request...but when she arrived at the location, found the two tied, captured by her rival Kothan.  Kothan, once again with his purple lightning lightsaber, desired revenge, beliving that if he fought the Trandoshan one on one, in a fair duel, that he would finally win.  He also blamed her for going to the dark side so much - but Sseyax ignored his petty comments and fought straight on, finally killing her rival Kothan.  Rescuing the embrassed Luigi and Mario, she continued with them onto a party being held for...

• Torin meanwhile met with his family and told very impressive tales of his heroism to everyone in his family.  As he slept in his new private apartment, he felt all was well...until he woke up in an all-white room with his R2 unit as a trash barrel and the frustrating voice of Do Ji Wacao Jr laughing at him.  Torin taunted Doji, but Doji ignored such taunts.  It took Torin some time to get through the defenses, but he was able to send a help signal to his father; in response, Doji unleashed some poisonous gas onto him.  Torin covered it up, but was weakened; with R2's help though, he escaped from the deathroom, and then promptly had to deactivate a thermal detonator, the dreaded rival of the Woods family - which Torin did.  Torin then ran away, allowing Doji to escape.  With backup, Torin followed Doji into the sewers, only to find Doji dead...at the hands of Mr. Black.  Mr. Black told Torin that he respected Torin and the rest of the team, that he could not forgive them for the death of Ms. Grey, his sister, and that he had joined the Black Sun - the next time they met, they would be enemies.

• .....Ki-Tal.  Havin saved Keniobi, Ki-Tal thought he could relax, only for Terra Vicious to ask for his help - her son had been kidnapped by thieves seeking a way out of Coruscant, and she wanted with diplomacy to take of the situation.  With Commodore Page's help, Ki-Tal entered the apartment where Terra's child was being held.  Ki-Tal began a long sequence of negotiations, convincing the three kidnappers to allow into the room they were holding the kid - only to announce they were going to hold Ki-Tal hostage.  Ki-Tal remained calm, and using his words and force abilities made two of the three agree to surrender.  One, a trandoshan, became enraged with anger...something Ki-Tal took care of with a simple force push, making the Trandoshan cry.  Having rescued Terra's child, she and Argas Vicious thanked Ki-Tal, telling him the Vicious family was on his side.  He was then summoned immediately to the Jedi Council, where Ayla invited him to become a Jedi Councilor.  Ki-Tal accepted and soon a small quiet party was held for him, in which every PC and NPC associated with the team somehow discovered and crashed into. 

 At the party, Torin was made heir to the Blue Sabers (again) by Lance.  In addition, Master Frey pulled Sseyax and Tav aside to a private garden, where he told them he planned on taking over the Inquisitors...and he wanted their help.  Tav declined, deciding to support Ki-Tal on the council instead so she could continue her learning.  Sseyax agreed to the request, thinking the best way to reform an area is to be a part of it.  Frey was glad to have Sseyax's help, though Sseyax began to "fight" with Nagatha and Tav he began to wonder...In addition, Frey told Tav privately that Tav's mother, his cousin, wanted him to give her an amulet of the family when she grew up.  Having done so, he gave Tav a pendant that contained a hologram of her family, with her as a baby, something that made Tav quite happy.

With pretty much all the loose ends covered up (well, at least the ones the GM and players decided to get around to that is!) the team now heads on the Star Destroyer Exetor, under the combined leadership of Admiral Akbar and Admiral Terra Vicious, to take on IG-88A, Maiya and Jack at the life forge!
