Short Version: The team handled the Hancock Situation, then the Desperado Situation but are now in the midst of handling the Inquisitors Situation.
Tas-Ar, Sseyax and Ki-Tal headed back to the HMs Nightrunner with their captive Hancock. As they arrived, Hancock demanded to know he was being captive and that he be surrendered to the authorities. Hancock demanded to know what crime he had committed, but Tas-Ar remained vague both in what he did and what he said. At the same time, an explosion occurred somewhere on the ship. Ki-Tal went to check it out.
Meanwhile, Jay Cordon and Tav ran into Torin (who had rearranged the bodies) to get back to the Nightrunner. During their run, they encountered three teenagers trying to hide the ashes of two bodies - revealed later to be the father and son that Tav had encountered. The three told Jay, after some talking, about a incinerator in the outskirts of the town. The three then ran towards the Nightrunner.
Ki-Tal found the Rapier Brothers having been critically injured by an explosion in the engine room of the Nightrunner. Using his expert surgery skills, he saved the two lives at the same time, but came to the conclusion that Mr. Black had sabotaged the parts to explode. Meanwhile, after some talking, Tas-Ar decided to let Hancock go in order to convince Hancock to aid him instead. Sseyax wasn't crazy about this, and neither was the rest of the team, but they agreed to do this - especially since a mob of people was coming towards them with blasters in tow.
Jay talked with Mayor West, and upon the release of Hancock, everything was good again. Half of the team went with the crowd to the Main House. Upon getting there, an attempt to force the group to drink a champagne drink. Sseyax insisted everyone at the party did - and they did. Half of the crowd went KO from the poison, and Mayor West revealed that this whole thing was a set-up to capture the team for their bounties. Jay talked to the townspeople how Mayor West likely had no care about them - and inadvertently convinced Jessie, his wife, to kill him. Jessie, after some more negotiations, agreed to let the team go with a small bribe...and this convinced Wild Eye Daniels, Tas-Ar Uncle, to kill her (Tas-Ar had been KOed from the poison)
Just as it looked the team would be captured, the building was attacked by a attack cruiser - killing dozens of the denizens. During this madness, Torin shot and killed Daniels. The team escaped outside, where they ran into a group of three Inquisitors, a Human, a Rodian, and a Lepi.
The three told the group that they wished to take the group to meet with Master Joseph Gunner and that no harm was to be inflicted if they cooperated. They explained that previously, by working with Ms. Shade, Savaya, they were War criminals, but now they were just criminals. They also were not aware of the other Inquisitors chasing after them. The group, weakened from the day's events and not having a good ship, agreed to this, and had 30 minutes to prepare.
Just as the team prepared to leave though things got even crazier...
