Recap: Alliance

Short Version: After some preparation, the team met with the Inquisitors, who were soon met with another group led by Terra Vicious and the Republic.  After agreeing to go with Terra, the Inquisitors attacked and were defeated.  The team then agreed to an alliance with the Republic.

The team was given some time to prepare to be taken by the Inquisitors.  Torin and Sseyax, with Ki-Tal in tow, had a spirited discussion about the situation.  Torin in particular was spirited in his defense of Mr. Shadow while Sseyax and Ki-Tal tried to convinced him otherwise.  During this conversation, Torin's R2 unit told the team that Gobo allowed Doji Wacao and Ponce De Leon to escape, making Sseyax reprimanding the poor Ewok.

Eventually, the Inquisitors, Marik the (Androgynous) Blue, Patricia and Craxton arrived to convince the team to go with them, as previously agreed to.  Sseyax argued against the group, desiring to take their shuttles and making other such demands.  This, along with the various taunts made by Tav and Torin, angered the Inquisitors, though they did not make their move.  During this debate, a star destroyer appeared in the skies above, and the Inquisitors told the team that they were negotiate with the Republic forces to escape.

The Republic Forces emerged from their shuttle: Commander Terra Vicious, B-69 (her bodyguard droid), Garm the Hunter (the other bodyguard) and Meenush (Inquisitor).  Terra and Patricia debated among each other about who had the right to capture the group, meaning the group indirectly got to decide who to go with.  After some discussion, the team began to lean towards the nicer Terra Vicious group, and not towards the team they had been antagonizing for the past several minutes.

At that point, Marik escaped, Patricia charged at Terra Vicious's group, and Craxton attacked the team.  Craxton used his bouncing variant of a Whirlwind attack to attack the team, nearly taking out Sseyax, Tav, and Tas-Ar, but he was finally killed by Sseyax.  The team survived in part due to Ki-Tal's healing and Tav's Enhance Ability.  With his final breath, he warned the team they were making a mistake not trusting Gunner and by trusting Terra Vicious, daughter to Argas Vicious, a villain in the minds of Gunner, according to Craxton and Patricia. 

Patricia, in her fight, killed Meenush, but was damaged from multiple attacks and having to dodge capital blasters from the Nightrunner being used by Torin and Jay (who was able to disable Torin's defenses that would have destroyed the entire ship! ("It was an elective").  Patricia used her force speed to charge at Sseyax, nearly killing her and ripping off a finger, but she was slayed via a desperate thrust by Tav. 

The team was badly injured (Tas-Ar and Tav were one good hit from KO, Sseyax and Ki-Tal were one good hit from death) so they took on Terra Vicious's offer to go with her.  Torin investigated the Inquisitor shuttle, but found no sign of Marik the Blue (though he did find plenty of credits).  The team went to the Star Destroyer Exetor and rested finally in the Bacta Tanks, leveling up to level 9.

After recovering, the team was sent to have breakfast with the leaders of the ship: Admiral Akbar, Commander Terra Vicious, Commodore James "Jimmy" Page, Inquisitors Shiva and Luke Skywalker, Chief Engineer Adams, the Security Officer and others.  The breakfast went well (though Sseyax was not pleased with her bowl of worms!) and Admiral Akbar explained to the team that the star Forge, capable of creating millions of ships in month or so, was too powerfully designed and had to be destroyed.  In addition, the Inquisitors were becoming too focused and overly fanatical in their love of Gunner.  To destroy the Star Forge and stop the Inquisitors, Akbar requested the team's help in this mission.  In time, the bounties would hopefully be dropped.

The team agreed to work with Admiral Akbar and his group.  Akbar informed the team of their next mission: the ship was heading to the ice planet Hoth to aid Jedi Council Member Kiyana Elana against the Black Sun.  In return of helping her, they hoped to find out more about the Inquisitor order.  The team agreed to this plan of action.

After the breakfast, Shiva had a discussion with the group talking about the Inquisitor Order and how she hoped the team was worth Meenush life.  Skywalker then talked to the team, saying that the two were close.  Jay then talked with Terra Vicious 1 on 1 about asking for help about the Jedi Order, a group Jay believes to be dangerous; Terra stated that the Order should belong to the Military and the two agreed to help each other and to a date.  Jay then informed Admiral Akbar about how the Black Sun having the data, a fact that Akbar appreciated.  Akbar then asked Jay to acquire the Star Map data from the team to aid in the research of the Star Forge.  Jay then briefly talked to Leia Organa, and the two were friendly, Leia was proving to be hard to catch.  Ki-Tal talked to Tas-Ar about what happened to Desperado; Ki-Tal informed Tas-Ar he would, due to Teetran's disappearance, become his master...and for Tas-Ar to avoid the path of vengeance, to give up (temporary) his lightsaber.  Tas-Ar defended his actions, but agree to Ki-Tal to be his master...but kept his lightsaber (for now).
